Christmas card using Tim Holtz's Treeline and Prancing Deer dies. This design could work with smaller dies too and the tag used a a topper for a card.
Cut a Tag from white card approx 19x 9.5 cm and punch a hole to the top.
Distress the top half with Faded Jeans Oxide. Spritz if necessary to move the colour and stop it looking flat. Set aside to dry.
Spatter with Hydrous watercolour paint - Titanium White to make a snow effect.
Die cut the Treeline from white card. Distress with Forest moss, picking the ink up from a craft sheet. Let it dry, then divide the trees into two pieces.
Create three torn snowbanks, one slighly deeper and sponge the edges with Weathered Wood.
Stick th two pieces of Treeline behind the smaller snowbanks slightly offset with the smaller trees behind the upper snowbank to give a bit of perspective.
Layer the drifts and stick together, the deeper one at the bottom.
Stick the snowbank tree layers to the tag and trim the excess.
Put the gold ribbon across the bottom snowbank using 5mm roll on adhesive tape.
Die cut the Prancing Deer from white card and ink with Gathered Twigs, making it darker on the hooves, antlers and nose.
Stick the deer onto the tag, standing on the ribbon.
Die cut and colour two of the Holiday Greens sprigs.
Die cut one sprig of holly and cut into two pieces. Punch three holly berries from red card with the single hole punch
Piece together the floral arrangement.
Position and stick the floral arrangement onto the ribbon below the Deer's hooves.
Die cut a Vintage Noel from gold glitter card and stick to the top of the tag.
Finish with two lengths of red and gold ribbon and loop through the top punched hole. Cut the red ribbon longer so you can tie a bow.
