Christmas card using Tim Holtz's' Metropolis city dies, this time with a cool winter theme for Christmas
Die cut the buildings in white card and the roof pieces from silver glitter card and assemble.
Cut a 14 cm2 piece of black card for the background and spatter with the Dr. PH Martins Hydrous white paint.
This paint is just the right consistancy for flicking with a paintbrush. It comes in a little dropper bottle, so you only need to put a little on your craft sheet.
When the white spatters have dried distress the bottom 1/3 of the background with Distress Oxide Iced Spruce. This gives a little grounding to the buildings although it is barely visible in the finished card.
Position and stick the buildings onto the background.
Die cut Peace on Earth from the Holiday words die set in Silver glitter card and stick to the upper part of the background.
Die cut Apple Blossom's Ornate border #2 also from silver glitter card, trim and stick along the bottom edge of the buildings.
To finish use a silver gel pen to colour in some of the windows, then mount onto 15 cm2 white base card.
