This die set is really an all year rounder! Change certain elements and it will depict any season. This time it is a winter scene with evergreen foliage and deer in the foreground.
Cut all the elements of the Forest Circle.
Cut two of the larger pine boughs form the Holday greens set and the two smaller deer from the Deer Trio.
Cut a 14 cm2 piece of white card and die cut a 10 cm aperture centrally and 1 cm from the top edge.
Cut a piece of card to go behind the houses as the sky. Run this through the Snowfall embossing folder.
Colour the deer and houses.
Assemble the Forest Scene.
Position the Scene onto the Snowfall background - my background really needed to be a little longer, you need quite a bit above the houses.
Place the Scene behind the aperture and trim off any extra.
Cut the snowbanks with the border die and run through the embossing folder.
Add the deer to the snowbanks.
Tuck the pine boughs at each side
Die cut the Star and words. If you pop the dots for the i's on a bit of masking tape it make them easier to manage and harder to lose.
Colour these with pumice stone ink. I wanted an off white appearence for these so they showed up against the bright white.
I used a Versamarker pen on the star and words and used heat embossing to give them sparkle with Wow! Clear Sparkle powder.
Add the star and words to the scene.
Mount onto a 14.5 cm2 square piece of olive green card and then onto a 15 cm2 base card
